    A MOVIE MOVES HEARTS

Cinema is a powerful tool for evangelization, and we all have a role to play in this social and Christian responsibility as we exist in a world that is influenced by what it sees.

    TOGETHER ON THIS JOURNEY

We produce films to spread the Gospel so that every person can be touched by the Lord. Production involves many expenses, so it is a matter of justice to pay to watch the films, even if they are Catholic.

    CONDITIONS AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thank you for your valuable support of faith-based cinema. Planning ahead is key as licenses may take up to 15 days to process.

    What do the licenses include?

The license grants permission to publicly screen the film at the specified location on the agreed-upon dates. The film will be provided in digital format through a link that will be valid for a specific period of viewing.

Where can I show the film?

You can screen the film in your assembly hall, parish, or any suitable location you can arrange. However, the license does not cover venue rental (theater) or technical equipment for projection or editing.

Why is it good to pay the fees?

The expected income from distribution is essential for recouping the money invested and for producing more films. It also represents the rights of the various authors of the work, such as the director, screenwriter, and actors. Acquiring a license serves a noble purpose by enabling the production of new and improved films.

We do not charge admission; we are a non-profit organization and we are not open to the general public. Do we need a license?

Yes, if you want to show a film without charging admission, whether you’re a non-profit organization or not, and even if it’s not open to the public outside the institution, you still need to pay a license fee. Any screening outside of a private home is considered a public screening, and for copyright reasons, a license is necessary.

We are hosting a cinema forum with a very small audience. Will we have to pay the full fee?

In many cases, you will not need to pay the full fee, but you will still need to apply for a license. Goya Producciones is willing to adapt to your circumstances and we are interested in hearing about your situation.
